Project Manager

The Project Manager will be responsible for working with the Project Director in the Project initiation Phase to establish project plan, and metrics. A key role for this position will be to improve, document and ensure adherence to PMO processes across all projects. This role includes establishing MS project schedules and costs. The PM will also be involved in meeting with team leads to determine direction, gather status, update the project communication, preparing weekly communication of status, update the project communication, preparing weekly communication of status and escalating major project issues.

Extensive (5+ years) project management with formal development lifecycle process experience.

Minimum of 5 years of experience with project planning tools (i.e. MS Project) and excellent MS Office skills

Solid expertise in project methodology

Experience working with vendors and major packages a plus

Prior experience managing large implementations a plus

Experience implementing projets in IT specifically client/server and web solutions

Experience implementing projects in IT having used RUP a plus

PMP certification not required but strongly desired
